1. Teide National Park
Teide National Park is a must-see for anyone visiting Tenerife. The park covers an area of 18,990 hectares and includes Mount Teide, which at 3,718 metres (12,198 ft) is the highest mountain in Spain. The landscape of the national park has been shaped by volcanic activity and includes lava flows, craters and Caldera de Taburiente, a huge collapsed volcano crater which is now filled with rainwater.
